About us
Attica Audio Recording is a rural residential recording studio located in the rolling hills of north-west Co.Donegal, Ireland.
Owned & operated by Tommy McLaughlin originally from the attic of his home, the current studio opened in 2012 & was built & designed from the ground up to be an exceptional acoustic space creating a unique and fully-featured recording environment.
Our 3000 sq.ft facility is home to a beautiful recording studio together with our client lounge, office and equipment stores. A separate 1500 sq.ft building is home to our onsite artists residence & a Studio B mix room.

Equipment
Console
Attica is home to a beautiful 1978 Harrison 3232b console. This 32 channel console is maintained to the highest standard and was installed by Harrison. Our console has 28 B-series modules with transformer balanced pre-amps & 4 C-series modules with transformer-less preamps.
Accommodation
Our onsite artists residence can accommodate up to 8 people in 4 twin/double rooms alongside a spacious living area with a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a private outdoor decking area & garden. There are plenty of lovely walks nearby & we are very close to the beautiful Glenveagh National Park & a 10 minute drive away from some stunning beaches.
We can also provide full catering services during your session, just enquire at the time of booking to arrange.
Rates / Bookings

All prices are subject to 23% VAT excluding accommodation which is inclusive.
Hard drives / guitar strings / drum heads etc. are available at cost. Please enquire at time of booking.
We require a 50% deposit to confirm any booking & all balances are due on or before the last day of session.
Attica welcomes all freelance engineers. Our rates are very transparent and we’re always happy to help you accurately budget a record or project.
